About the role
Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified company that is a subsidiary of the Exchange Income Corporation which has recently grown through the merger with Bearskin Airlines. With approximately 900 employees, we operate a fleet of 45+ aircraft including the Metro 2, 3, 23, Merlin and Dash 8 aircraft. We are based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba as well as Sioux Lookout, Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Toronto Ontario. We provide scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter services, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Cargo Operations, the Supervisor, Cargo Operations has the key role of ensuring that Cargo Operations staff are complying with all procedures and duties assigned to their position, with a primary goal of maintaining safety, efficiency and on-time performance.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide positive teamwork and ongoing support to the Cargo Department, working closely with and overseeing the Cargo agents and loadmasters and their assigned responsibilities
- Ensure at all times that Cargo staff are complying with safety policies and regulations while properly utilizing equipment and materials
- Oversee Dangerous Goods paperwork and ensure compliance with regulations
- Demonstrate the ability to lead the team towards achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Comply with all required TC and Perimeter regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance
- Provide assistance and support for any/all disciplinary issues that may arise in the Cargo Department
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Forklift license or completed applicable training considered an asset
- Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Amelia computer system is considered an asset
- Airline experience considered an asset
- Dangerous Goods Acceptance Training considered an asset
- Experience with Claims and APPR guidelines considered an asset
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
