About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
- Reporting to the Vice President of Technical Services, the Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing current expenses, creating financial models for decision support, forecasting future costs based on a keen understanding of the business, identifying trends, making recommendations for improvements, and managing client invoicing. This position requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders in simple terms.
##Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-**Expense Analysis:**Review and analyze current operating expenses across all departments to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare detailed reports to support management in making informed financial decisions. -**Cost Forecasting:**Collaborate with business development teams to project costs associated with new business opportunities. Develop financial models to estimate potential revenues and costs, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. -**Client Invoicing:**Oversee the invoicing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work closely with account management teams to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction. -**Budgeting and Forecasting:**Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing accurate financial data and analysis to support the company’s financial planning process. -**Financial Reporting:**Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify key trends and insights, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance. -**Cross-functional Collaboration:**Work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and business development, to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Call Center experience considered beneficial

Analytical mindset and inquisitive nature

Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing work conditions in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated with excellent time management

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.

Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
- Three years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
