The Role

As a result of our robust growth, we are adding an Operational Support Specialist to join our team of professionals in our **Shoreland Transport Inc.**officein Woodstock, NB. This role will report to the Operations Manager. We are looking for a driven professional who takes initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Support after hours operations: 1400 to 2200 Monday to Friday

• Day to day functions

• Answer and support Driver calls

• Handle all Breakdowns

• Monitor Reefers using the on-board software

• Assist with plans and / or updates of the fleet when needed

• ACE and ACI creation, submission

• Customer Service Support

• Track and Trace for customers

• Updates sent to customers as needed

• Carrier follow up

• Monitor load tenders – update orders are needed

• Vacation Coverage – as needed, when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, distribution, or supply chain
• College/University degree preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with databases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
