About the role
#Position Summary
As a Summer Student, Operations reports to the Manager, Technical Services and will provide support for the day-to-day operations of the building maintenance.
#Responsibilities
###Maintain Quality Building Premises
- General maintenance including but not limited to housekeeping, i.e., sweeping, litter pick up, shoveling, coil cleaning, pressure washing etc.
- Painting as required, this may include but not limited to common areas, mechanical rooms and/or exterior fixtures.
- May assist with projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations and execute all work in a safe and professional manner.
###Deliver Excellent Service to Tenants
- Provide excellent quality Tenant services, emphasizing a co-operative, helpful and non-disruptive approach in all interactions with Tenants.
###Promote Environmental Sustainability in Building Operations
- Support best practices to reduce energy consumption.
##Perform other related responsibilities as requested from time to time
Education & Experience Requirements
- Secondary Diploma, required
- Post-Secondary Education: Currently a 3rd or 4th year student, required

- Prefer to have a valid, Ontario driver’s license and own a vehicle.
