Job Overview Reporting to the Director, Branch Operations, as the Manager, Operations you will ensure all goods and materials are handled in a safe, secured, cost-effective and efficient manner to provide excellent service and product quality to customers.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing and monitoring Operations departmental budget.
• Hiring, developing, supervising and providing guidance to employees within Operations department.
• Promoting a safe work environment to ensure compliance with Star’s Safety Program and relevant safety regulations.
• Overseeing and maintaining warehousing systems, operation and infrastructure. Safeguarding stock and finished goods.
• Scheduling and overseeing distribution and logistics. Maintaining and managing all fleet vehicles and staff.
• Assisting retail and commercial customers to ensure all orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner.
• Managing receiving and returns of materials/goods to ensure proper inspections for deficiencies.
• Overseeing all aspects of door fabrication and any related work.
• Continuously improving programs and processes related to operations and logistics.

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in Building Materials Operations Management.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint)

Work Conditions You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Travel to sites and overtime may occasionally be required.
