About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, Food Operations on a permanent basis on our Centre Store Food team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based out of Regina, SK. Expected travel of 30% to local Co-ops in the southern Saskatchewan zone and requirement to come into the Regina region office approximately once per month.
Are you someone with a strong blend of strategic leadership, financial acumen, and coaching ability? Are you interested in leading a team help to support local Co-op Food Stores performance in southern Saskatchewan?
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with Local Co-op leaders and Senior Operations Advisors (SOAs) to develop and implement action plans focused on operational efficiencies and cost management, especially in priority Co-ops.
- Provide strategic leadership for achieving sales and margin targets, primarily in Food operations, by guiding SOAs and Local Co-op leadership in building and executing sales action plans.
- Act as a liaison between Local Co-ops and Home Office, ensuring timely execution of projects, reporting, and alignment with CRS objectives and programs.
- Support renovations, expansions, and new store developments by working with Finance, Retail Advisors, and Local Co-ops on feasibility studies and strategic planning.
- Partner with HR and SOAs to identify and develop future leaders within Local Co-ops, coordinating succession planning and training programs.
Who you’ll work with :
You will lead a team of Senior Operations Advisors (SOAs) and work closely with Local Co-op GMs/CEOs, and Operations / Division Managers throughout the designated zone as well as Home Office Managers. You will report into the Senior Manager, Food Operations.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Have 8+ Years of relevant progressively responsible experience in retail store operations.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
