Job Description
Working within a team of fire protection professionals, your work will help the company to adequately meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee them fully compliant fire suppression systems.
You will mainly be responsible for the installation, modification, inspection and repairs to existing water-based sprinkler systems. You will also respond to service calls from customers and provide training when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience of sprinkler system installation required;
- Certified Sprinkler Fitter or apprentice (Union member);
- Graduate of Sprinkler Inspection training programs (an asset);
- Experience with all water suppression systems, foam systems, gas agent systems and fire pump equipment necessary (an asset);
- Backflow testing certificate (an asset);
- Valid driver’s license;
- Fall Protection (an asset);
- H2S Alive (an asset);
- Lift Training (an asset);
- Ability to work on sites with pre-screening as a requirement;
- Ability to work out of town for extended periods of time.
