Human Resources Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactiveHuman Resources Specialistto support day‑to‑day HR operations, ensure compliance, and help create a positive employee experience. This role covers recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, benefits, performance processes, and general employee support.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain HRIS records and employee documentation

• Keep HR policies and handbooks up to date

• Ensure compliance with ESA, health & safety, and privacy laws

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes

• Support benefits administration and compensation reviews

• Partner with payroll to maintain accurate employee data

• Lead performance review coordination and support managers

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment (postings, screening, scheduling)

• Coordinate training and development activities

• Assist with travel arrangements and cross‑department projects

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

• Experience across multiple HR functions

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation

• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office

• CHRP/CHRL (or working toward) is an asset

Compensation:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 per year
