Why this role is important?

What you’ll do:

• Conduct product verification on all compliance packs prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
• Operate and maintain the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine® (VBM) used to generate and produce weekly compliance packs for SDM stores
• Verify compliance packs using the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine® (VBM) Software
• Prepare and package medications
• Verify each package quickly and accurately
• Prepare compliance packs for delivery
• Ensure proper stock levels and inventory Management
• Ensure proper storage, handling, disposal of drugs and return to stock procedure in accordance with SOPs
• Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you bring :

• A minimum of 1 year of continuous work experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital or Retail) is an asset
• Experience with high volume filling environments an asset
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Attention to detail
• Teammate and leadership skills
• Must be able to complete work with minimum supervision
• Comfortable standing for portion of the shift

The successful candidate will be required to workSundays 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm, with the possibility of additional day(s) a week that can be scheduled based on business needs. Initial weeks of training will require candidate to be available Friday and 3-4 additional days during the week (2pm-10pm) until the candidate is trained in all duties of the role.
