Role Description This is a full-time Legal Assistant / Paralegal role located in Calgary, AB, with flexibility to work in a hybrid work model with the ability to work from home. In this role, you will provide legal administrative and paralegal support to lawyers and other legal personnel. Day-to-day tasks will include preparing, reviewing and organizing legal documents and disclosure, tracking time for yourself, drafting, and assisting with court filings and client communications. Remuneration Salary position. Remote work capabilities. Laptop and cell phone to be provided. Parking reimbursement paid. Health benefits. Qualifications Legal Assistant or paralegal degree/certification At least five (5) years of working experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar role, specifically in family law Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents and procedures associated with litigation, corporate law, and real estate law Experience using legal software programs such as LEAP and Microsoft Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work product Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Experience in a fast-paced legal environment is a plus If interested please contact Cody Stokowski at cody@stokeslaw.ca.

Requirements
