24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions is looking for Canadian Certified Primary Care Paramedic (current and in good standing) to work at a mine in the Yukon. The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) would be joining a team of Primary Care Paramedics. Our occupational health clinic is supported remotely by a team of ER physicians. This position is currently anticipated to run through October 2026 and may be extended, with the potential to transition into a long-term, full-time role in the future. Above industry standard compensation, fully covered flights to and from site, 24/7 access to on-call doctors for support, multiple project locations, and a COR Certified safety program are just some reasons to join the 24/7 OEMS team. The Canadian Certified Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) will be expected to practice within the medical directives and formulary as approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director. The PCP will work as part of the on-site and remote clinical team and have access to our 24/7 on-call emergency medicine consultants. Prior experience in occupational medicine and or the provision of care in a remote setting would be an asset. Overview: * Location: Remote mining location in the Yukon (fly-in/fly-out) * Shifts: 12-hour * Rotation: Two weeks on / two weeks off, alternating teams * Duties: Provide medical support for any injuries or illnesses on-site * Support: Full access to our emergency medicine team for consultation * Travel: Flights and accommodations to and from site are provided * Requirement: Must have a current Canadian Primary Care Paramedic licence in good standing The PCPs will be expected to: * Provide emergency medical care to injured or ill workers, including making transport decisions within their scope of practice. * The PCP approved scope of practice will primarily align with their provincial licensing / governing body, including delegated medical acts approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director, individual competence and training in selected skills, urgency of patient condition, and on-site medical resources. Qualifications: * Canadian Primary Care Paramedic licence in good standing (Required) * BLS (Required) Compensation and Benefits: * Hourly rate is equivalent to $600 plus 4% (in lieu of vacation) per 12-hour day * Supplemental overtime and call-back rates * Flights and accommodations to and from site are provided * Employee assistance program Schedule: * Shifts: 12-hour shifts * Rotation: Two weeks on / two weeks off, alternating teams Application review process We value a fair, human‑centered recruitment process, and every application matters to us.
