About The Role The Physiotherapy department at Griffith Base Hospital is looking for a hardworking and team-oriented Physiotherapist to join our team. This position is rotational and covers a wide range of areas including acute cardiorespiratory, acute surgical, critical care, rehabilitation, EDSSU, HITH, orthopaedics and orthopaedic/ musculoskeletal outpatients. Our team currently consists of around 9 Physiotherapists who play a crucial role in the hospital and community settings. As The Physiotherapist, You Will Be Responsible For Provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, intervention and education using evidence-based practice. Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans in collaboration with senior clinicians where appropriate. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes and support safe, timely discharge planning. Deliver care in line with professional, organisational, legal and ethical standards, including MLHD CORE values. Demonstrate cultural competence and commitment to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people and culturally diverse communities. Work independently within scope of practice while seeking supervision and support as required. Requirements
Requires a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration. Candidates must possess a Class C driver's license and the ability to meet NSW Health immunisation and screening requirements.
