The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Toronto is looking for a resourceful, empathetic and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Administrative Assistant. By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Offering efficient internal support, you will be invaluable in ensuring the Advisory team functions fluidly and that each member receives the assistance they need to perform at their best. What will you do? Provides administrative support and coordination activities for a team of people. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments. Answering telephone, taking messages and answering routine questions. Maintaining vacation schedule and master schedule of whereabouts for staff. Maintaining master copies of organizational policy and procedure manuals and keeping them up-to-date. Typing and distributing memos, meeting minutes and presentations for staff. Must-have Strong skills in working with various business applications/technology High level of time management and organization skills Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients Exceptional verbal and written communication Nice-to-have Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures Experience in the securities industry is an asset What’s in it for you? What you’ll do

Provide administrative support and coordination for an advisory team, including managing schedules and updating policy manuals. Handle routine tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, and distributing meeting minutes and presentations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess strong organizational and time management skills along with a professional approach to client service. Experience in the securities industry or the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) is considered an asset.
