Responsibilities:

• Assign daily tasks to welders and ensure each workstation has work.
• Prepare and move materials, parts, and assemblies to the appropriate workstations.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Communicate with supervisors to report any immediate issues on the floor.
• Ensure basic materials and consumables (gloves, welding wire, gas) are available for each shift.
• Assist with inventory and tool organization as needed.
• Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:

• Experience working on a production floor or in industrial handling.
• Ability to operate a forklift (certification is an asset).
• Good physical condition and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in spoken and written French. Functional English is required for a small percentage of customer interactions (approximately 5%).
• Ability to ensure all workstations have work for the shift.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production floor.
• Prevent production downtime related to lack of materials or consumables.

Salary: $25 per hour. Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Status: Permanent position.
