***This role can be based in Mississauga, Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax or Moncton***** Industry Services Consultant - Healthcare POSITION PROFILE The Industry (HealthCare, Life Sciences) Solutions Consultant (ISS) supports the design and execution of the account strategy, working closely with leadership of the line of business and other key delivery team members. Strong ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment is required; must maintain a 360° view of all stakeholders and contributors within assigned accounts. The ISS will be accountable for driving profitable revenue growth with Ricoh’s targeted industry solutions portfolio within the industry assignment. This role is a catalyst for driving the segmented portfolio and as the portfolio evolves, will further specialize to drive growth of our services and solutions. As a key team member, the ISS is responsible for gaining an understanding of the customer’s business and technology requirements, documenting those requirements, and creating compelling business solution(s) that meet the client’s needs and achieves their desired business outcomes. The ISS will demonstrate a high degree of business acumen, technical knowledge, communication skills as well as a proven track record of driving high valued business results as an independent consultant. This role will also work with the lead design SME to ensure proper scoping and technology requirements and will collaborate on customized solutions required by our customers. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic thought leadership that results in differentiation Participate in industry related webinars, events and stay informed on trends and challenges within the assign industry. Understands and incorporates the Ricoh value proposition into everyday talk tracks with clients. Seen as a SME in presenting, promoting and solutioning within the Healthcare sector. Ability to deliver a concise, well-written business case tailored to each customer’s needs. Accountable for self-development, staying current with new and developing industry trends. Portfolio Aptitude Consults with the customer with a high degree of Industry/Domain/Technology expertise and knowledge in the areas of workflow automation and document processing. Works independently or with other Design resources and engages technical presale resources or Implementation Subject Matter Experts for more complex/specialized technology solutions. Utilizes the engagement process to obtain additional resource expertise Performs initial discovery and conceptual design in order to meet client needs. Works directly with the Centre of Excellence to collaborate on innovative ideas and solutions. Ability to research and network Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside vendors. Routinely creates a helpful and positive work culture. Able to call on clients to develop new business-level relationships. Driven to meet or exceed assigned revenue and target metric objectives within assigned accounts. Generate long-term growth Ability to generate new opportunities within assigned accounts working in a team-selling environment. Participates in frequent communication of activities and account status with assigned account team. Follows Ricoh's Methodology Framework to ensure that projects are accurately scoped and delivered in line with customer expectations. Ability to collaborate with the design, project management, operations, and implementation teams to ensure all customer needs have been addressed. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Typically Required: Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field Requires 8+ years demonstrated success acting as a SME within the Industry. Minimum 5+ years of successful selling experience in relevant industry. Experience in supporting consultative solutions, selling to a variety of functional areas and lines of business within large complex accounts (hunting and farming) directly and through partners. Existing relationships with, and solid understanding of, existing Industry players. Experience working within a team selling environment, ability to gain alignment and support from multiple cross-functional areas. Must have excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal. Must be experienced in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives. Strong project management skills. Relevant industry and solution certifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess and demonstrate: Ability to design, sell and articulate a strong business case for Ricoh’s services and solutions portfolio. Possesses an advanced technical understanding of the customer’s work environment and how to apply the portfolio in a manner that addresses their business objectives. Strong ability to lead solution design, integrating with typical customer infrastructure and workflows. Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to successfully work with or lead diverse teams to formulate Healthcare services and solutions. Must possess strong leadership attributes, strategic thought leadership to include verbal and written communication skills in combination with the ability to present to C-level customers. Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources and correlate to identify issues and propose solutions. Ability to communicate effectively with senior level decision makers across all areas of the client’s business to gain a clear understanding of infrastructure and business requirements in enterprise environments Must be able to coordinate multiple resources across functional groups within Ricoh and vendor partners to solve customer problems. Demonstrated experience as an avid team player that can adapt to changing roles. Goal-orientated, motivated and committed to ongoing self-development and development of others. Must demonstrate a positive mindset and attitude Ability to manage conflict and effectively solve problems in a fast paced, high stress environment. WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Most work is performed in a typical office environment or home office, 5 days per week. Requires regular travel provincially, nationally and potentially internationally. Maintains positive employee and customer relations and creates an exciting and fun work environment, balanced with professional and ethical standards of excellence. Excellent listening skills are necessary. Interprets, comprehends and applies complex material, data and instructions. Prepares, provides and conveys diversified information, which may be of a technical nature. Frequent contact with both internal and external customers and having the ability to give and receive feedback, recognize and act on customer needs, building rapport and gaining closure. Frequent contact with other departments, vendors and customers requires tact, charisma, and the ability to negotiate. Communicate clear and concise expectations, goals and provide feedback on results. External contacts via email, phone, and in person with all levels of internal and customer management for presentations, demonstrations and problem solving. Work has cyclical stress due to monthly goals and deadlines, and daily stress due to the impact the incumbent's decisions have on other people. Minor physical effort is required, which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing or similar activities.
