About the role
Our client is a manufacturing company in full evolution, engaged in optimizing its processes and implementing a new ERP system (NetSuite). The position of Production Planner is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), and based 100% on-site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will supervise a planning coordinator and play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production activities. This strategic role aims to ensure effective, reliable, and operationally aligned planning, while promoting smooth communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily production by line, optimizing schedules to maximize equipment utilization.
- Monitor the execution of the production plan and adjust in real-time based on unforeseen events or constraints.
- Create, track, and distribute production orders, respecting deadlines and priorities.
- Check stock levels before starting production and alert the procurement team in case of urgent needs.
- Maintain flexibility in schedules without compromising quality.
- Contribute to the improvement of planning systems, processes, and inventory management policies.
- Control the inventory of finished products and ensure compliance with required levels.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, customer service, and management teams.
- Manage the printing and distribution of production documents and labels.
- Perform any other tasks related to planning.

Requirements:
- Degree in operations management, logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment (ideally in chemical products and batch production).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
- Excellent ability to manage priorities and adapt to changes.
- Autonomy, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy.
- Strong team spirit and interdepartmental communication skills.
Salary: From $75,000 to $85,000 per year + $5,000 bonus. Schedule: Day shift Status: Permanent
