The Opportunity
Ocean Front Village – Long-Term Care | Courtenay, BC
Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Shift Schedule: Days/Evenings
Shift Times: 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 (8 hour shifts)

We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who are passionate about providing quality, person-centered care and being part of a supportive team environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide safe, resident-focused nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards and Village policy.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the RN and care team.
- Support and mentor care staff while fostering teamwork and respect.
- Document care and maintain accurate, timely records.
- Participate in safety initiatives, staff education, and quality improvement efforts.
What You Bring
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
- Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
