Position Summary:
The Canadian Wellbeing Knowledges Network (CWKN) is a high-impact, cross-sectoral network dedicated to mobilizing evidence and experience to place well-being and quality of life (QoL) at the heart of policy and decision-making across Canada.
The CWKN is seeking a highly motivated and capable individual with strong organizational skills and a genuine interest in well-being policy to fill the role of Project & Research Network Manager . This position is critical for the success of our Wellbeing Knowledge Mobilization Partnership (WKMP).
The ideal candidate loves building relationships and making connections across people and issues, loves designing and facilitating conversations and knowledge capture products and processes that help people come into and stay in a network. The ideal candidate will be adept at discovering what might drive different organizations and people to amplify the CWKN mission and goals (

Primary Responsibilities:
The Project & Research Network Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the WKMP and be the primary point of coordination for the CWKN. Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management
- Manage activities and deliverables across and between multiple project partners (WKMP).
- Organize all related meetings in consultation with meeting Chairs
- Manage all documentation activities, including but not limited to project-related plans, reports, references, and meetings.
- Monitor Project progress against plans, agreements, and budgets
- Support the organization of future team funding applications
- Assume responsibility for the functioning of the Network, which is currently being done by volunteers.
- Network Engagement
- Serve as a key operational leader for the CWKN, working to expand and activate the network.
- Recruit and support interested and motivated individuals from the CWKN network to participate in Working Groups, focus groups, and roundtables.
- Lead the planning, organization, and delivery of knowledge mobilization activities, including webinars, monthly online "cafés," newsletters, and website updates.
- Facilitate the building and maintenance of the CWKN online forum for cross-jurisdictional peer-to-peer knowledge exchange.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Required:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Policy, Administration, Political Science, Economics, Communications, or related discipline).
- Demonstrated aptitude, commitment, and strong interest in advancing evidence-based well-being and Quality of Life (QoL) policy in Canada.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex schedules and deliverables in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French language skills are an important asset).
- Familiarity with network-building, online community management, and knowledge mobilization tools (e.g., newsletters, social media, online forums) is required
Highly Desired (Candidate Strengths to be Prioritized):
- Strong Management Skills: Previous experience (in project management, event planning, and/or multi-stakeholder collaboration (e.g., managing collaborations between government, academic, and NGO partners).
- Strong Well-being Policy Knowledge: Existing knowledge or professional/academic experience related to Life Satisfaction (LS), Quality of Life (QoL) frameworks (e.g., Canada’s QoLF), or well-being indicators and data in a policy context.
