A****bout the Position
We are currently seeking a Distribution Specialist. Reporting to the Media Production Supervisor, this role will be responsible for shipping Semex products to our international sales network, working closely with our distribution and customer service teams.
What You Will Do:
- Plan, monitor, and adjust the shipping schedule as needed, in coordination with culture media production timelines
- Prepare international orders for Semex genetic products in compliance with internal procedures and international and CFIA regulations
- Ensure proper coordination among stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain up-to-date documentation required for exports
- Monitor inventory and prepare purchase orders as needed to replenish stock
- Manage inventory rotation based on lot numbers and expiration dates
- Perform weekly temperature checks for refrigerated and frozen storage areas
What It Takes to Succeed:
- Post-secondary education preferred, along with strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Bilingual in French and English to communicate effectively internationally
- Two years of experience in logistics; experience with international shipping, regulatory compliance, and the pharmaceutical sector is an asset

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate
This is an in‑person position based in Saint-Hyacinthe, requiring on‑site work five days per week. The position offers a minimum starting wage of $41,800.00 annually, with the potential for additional compensation based on relevant experience and qualifications.
