Psychosocial Intervention Coordinator #469
About the role
The coordinator is responsible for ensuring the quality of psychosocial intervention services. In this role, she ensures that the services provided align with an intersectional feminist approach, the organization's values, and the needs of women. She is responsible for coordinating, mobilizing, supervising, advising, and evaluating the team of social workers under her supervision and ensuring their ongoing professional development. In close collaboration with the executive director and the management team, she contributes to the smooth operation and optimal management of the shelter services. Additionally, the coordinator maintains partnership relations with various community organizations and stakeholders.
Your role as the coordinator:
- Organize and supervise all psychosocial interventions, ensuring their quality and relevance in relation to the needs of women.
- Oversee the daily supervision of the team of social workers, provide advice, evaluate performance, and plan continuous training.
- Work closely with the executive director and management team to ensure the proper management and smooth operation of shelter services.
- Implement mechanisms for ongoing evaluation of intervention practices, and make adjustments as needed to meet the women’s needs more effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various community, institutional, and local partners to provide holistic support to the women being assisted.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the organization's values, particularly the empowerment of women and safety.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.

Requirements:
- The candidate must be a committed feminist
- At least 5 years of experience in a shelter setting
- Experience in coordinating or supervising a team in the community or institutional sector
- University degree in a relevant field
- Experience working with women facing various forms of violence (e.g., domestic violence, sexual violence, family violence, etc.) and complex issues (e.g., homelessness, mental health, addictions)
- Mastery of intersectional feminist intervention
- Ability and willingness to develop, deploy, and refine intervention tools
- Strong interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, and teamwork spirit
- Basic knowledge of English to communicate with English-speaking clients (10% of the time).
Salary: $32.64 per hour (Increase at the end of the probationary period, then annually, according to the current salary scale. Possibility of starting at a higher step based on previous experience.) Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Presence required once per month, one day on the weekend.) Status: Permanent
