Territory Manager, Packaged Gases (Full Time) - Winnipeg, MB Primary Purpose The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating sales within an assigned territory of existing & new accounts. The individual in this position will be accountable for achieving quota by prospecting new customers and growing existing relationships.

Key Accountabilities

• Promotes sales and provide exceptional account service to assigned and potential customers
• Drive sales growth through new business development, quota achievement and customer relationship management
• Engage existing accounts and proactively pursue new opportunities through onside and phone-based cold calls
• Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
• Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
• Supports and execute marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
• Secures long term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
• Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
• Maintain list of target accounts by generates and qualifying new business leads
• Conducts competitive intelligence to identify market opportunities and threats
• Deliver product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers

Education

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Experience

• Prefer 5-7 years Outside Sales experience
• Industrial gas experience is an asset
• Welding experience is preferred/ is an asset

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Proven track record of sales success
• Defined sales process - strong understanding of a structured, defined sales process
• Demonstrated success applying solution-based selling techniques
• Prior experience in manufacturing and industrial sales
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and applications
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
