Our client, recognized as one of Canada's best-managed companies, is currently looking for a part-time experienced forklift loader for their warehouse located in Dorval.

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods using a sit-down electric forklift in an LTL and Cross Dock environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a sit-down electric forklift while adhering to safety standards.
• Unloading trailers efficiently.
• Loading trailers while following safety and transportation regulations and maximizing the available space in the trailer. It is essential to ensure that the pallets are properly secured to prevent them from falling or shifting during transport.
• Using a scanner to organize pallets and track goods movement.
• Performing palletization and loading based on cubic measurements and weight distribution.
• Placing goods into cubicles according to established loading procedures.
• Performing basic forklift maintenance.
• Performing any other related tasks to support operations.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years of experience with sit-down electric forklifts (essential).
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an LTL and/or Cross Dock environment (mandatory).
• Experience with pallet stacking using logistics bars.
• Valid forklift certification (mandatory).

Salary: $28.38 per hour. Schedule: Evening shift, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. / part-time Status: Temporary, long term.
