About The Role Reporting to the finance leadership team, this position is responsible for managing property and asset accounting, preparing accurate financial and regulatory reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

What You'll Do

• Oversee property and fixed asset records, including tracking, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, depreciation schedules, and related reporting requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve reporting processes, system enhancements, and audit readiness.
• Provide guidance and oversight to team members on accounting policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional designation (CPA, CMA) is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with property, asset, or fixed asset accounting.
• Proficiency with financial and accounting systems; familiarity with enterprise platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
