About the role
Our Fort McMurray, AB location is currently looking for a Lodging Maintenance Technician to join the team. Our Lodging Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing a wide array of skilled trades labor, facility maintenance, and general labor responsibilities in support of a variety of lodging and related facilities, equipment, and grounds.
This position is camp work, on a 20/10 rotation. Candidate must stay in camp. Why work for Clean Harbors?

Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks, duties, and responsibilities to maintain and repair various facility systems, structures, equipment, and grounds.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment, systems, facilities, and properties covered by the Company.
- Follow prescribed policies, practices, standards, and procedures in maintaining and repairing Company property and equipment.
- Adhere to safety standards and prescribed practices including Company and governmental regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and process documentation, such as work orders, purchase invoices/orders, process and methods sheets, instructions, and maintenance plans.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of trades such as plumbing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, and carpentry.
- Ability to read, write, and perform rudimentary calculations in basic mathematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a shift
- Safety training courses such as H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Space, is preferred.
- Must possess a valid non GDL driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work independently and maintain schedules and timetables for work completion and maintenance programs.
- Must be able to work 20 days at a time, 20/10 shift, 10-hour days.
- Must meet the Company health and legal standards established for a drug-free environment
