About the role
Title: Heavy Equipment Technician (Journeypersons and Apprentices)
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description:
We are seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our team in Leduc AB, Fort McMurray AB, and Bonnyville AB. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will report to the Shop Foreman and support our field operations. Your duties will require, maintenance and repair of our tandem, triaxle, water and vacuum trucks, semi trucks and trailers, pressure trucks, boilers, light-duty vehicles; knowledge of their systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of tandem, triaxle, water, vacuum trucks, pressure trucks, and light-duty vehicles
- Knowledge of their systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
- You must be a Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman or Registered Apprentice with Alberta Trades (Required)
- A reliable and adaptable safety-conscious team player with a great attitude
- Preferred work experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Successfully pass the Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Tool box and tools

Schedule: 8 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, averaging 44 hours per week.
