- Ensure training content aligns with hospitality standards, brand expectations, and operational requirements.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of engaging training programs focused on hospitality, service excellence, and operational standards.
- Create impactful training materials, guides, e-learning modules, and job aids that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Build compelling PowerPoint presentations and visual training aids to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops, training sessions, and ongoing development programs for new and existing team members.
- Deliver training to diverse teams and cultures, ensuring an inclusive, welcoming, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and act as a mentor to foster learning, growth, and accountability.
- Serve as a change champion by promoting and embedding hospitality culture and C.A.R.E. values across the organization.
- Support teams through change and encourage adoption of new practices that elevate guest and team member experiences.
- Use learning platforms and digital tools to deliver and track training programs.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and maintaining training records.
- Support the coordination of recognition programs to celebrate hospitality success and promote engagement.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in hospitality training and guest experience.
- Travel to Pursuit locations as needed to facilitate training, conduct site visits, and support on-the-ground alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality training, learning and development, or operations.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in designing training programs and instructional materials.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
- Knowledge of seasonal business operations and ramp-up strategies. Experience in coaching and performance improvement within hospitality environments.
- Experience in supporting or delivering training programs and developing SOPs.
- Multilingual capabilities are an asset to train diverse global team members.
