Under the guidance of the Manager of Hospitality, the Hospitality Coordinator will be assisting in maintaining, planning, directing and administering the Hospitality programs of the facilities in accordance with the government’s policies and standards.

THE ROLE
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrates, promotes and advocates the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values
- Under the direction of the Manager of Hospitality, assists in planning, directing and administering the Hospitality programs
- Ensures that the facility is maintained in a sanitary, attractive and safe condition and in compliance with relevant government legislations and standards, with due consideration of the resources available
- Finds reliable sources to supply goods and services
- Supervises purchasing for the department and contacts suppliers to obtain information on price, quality and delivery capabilities for the goods/services required
- Creates financial and statistical tools and reports
- Manages, organizes and updates relevant data
- Communicates and provides information internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups
- Interprets instructions and issues arising, and then implements actions according to administrative policies and procedures
- Researches and investigates information to enable strategic decision-making
- Arranges and participates in meetings, conferences and project team activities
- Provides support on training and professional development of staff
- Provides support in coordinating projects to ensure a safe and healthy environment
THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED
- Is aligned with a culture where people and integrity matters
- Has completed a Bachelor’s degree program, or equivalent in years of experience in a relevant position
- Prior proven experience in an administrative position
- Is an individual who exhibits high ethical standards and consistent sound judgment
- Is dependable, self-motivated to work with minimal supervision
- Thrives in a growing organization, remaining a positive attitude through temporary challenges
- Finds it easy to enjoy a variety of tasks, and is eager to grow and learn
- Can manage through some fluctuations in pace of work while still disciplined in meeting deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Has great phone and office etiquette, enjoys building rapport and connecting with a diverse audience
- Has good computer literacy; experience in Microsoft office required
- Communicates well in writing, speaking and presenting; ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
