About the role
Are you looking for a new challenge that matches your expectations in an exceptional environment? Our client is seeking a key individual to manage their port operations. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the person in this role will coordinate and supervise activities related to a regional maritime terminal. They will play a central role in the smooth running of logistical operations, from passenger service to the management of goods and vehicles.

Tasks
- Support warehouse, cargo, and freight transport managers.
- Oversee all activities related to goods and vehicles at the terminal.
- Ensure the quality of service and customer care for travelers, residents, and non-residents.
- Effectively address operational challenges and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, pricing, and administrative processes.
- Enforce safety standards and oversee the practices of shippers and consignees.
- Perform any other tasks related to the position as needed.

Job requirements
- College or university degree in logistics management, transportation, maritime operations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in team management and operational supervision, ideally in a maritime or industrial environment.
- Availability during critical periods; flexible hours depending on the terminal’s operational needs.
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written. English is essential for interacting with English-speaking clients and external partners.
- Good knowledge of office software tools, including the Microsoft Office suite.
