You as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Assessment will:

• Assist and support internal team of “Building Consultants” and “Project Managers” in a high paced environment on various administrative duties relating to Insurance losses and other owners’ rep projects.
• Provide excellent communication between internal colleagues, clients, and project / loss related stakeholders.
• Support invoice and project creation workflow (specifically entry into system) from several active projects
• Prioritize workflow in a high-volume department to ensure deadlines are met.
• React quickly and work with restoration and general contractors to support the assessment and cost control of insurance losses including provide invoice review on behalf of project leads.
• Support team with software relating to Microsoft office suite especially Xcel, Fieldwire, Xactimate and time entry software Tacticull
• Assist in producing RFP responses and ensuring EllisDon branding is consistent.
• Update marketing materials as organization changes.

Is this the right role for you?

• 2-3+ years of experience in a similar administrative role
• Restoration, insurance, cost consulting or construction related administrative experience is an asset.
• Understanding of construction and restoration terminology
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively
