About the role
The Insurance Administrator role provides excellent customer service through the timely and accurate processing of insurance policies and vehicle registrations, including renewals, cancellations, and expirations, as well as maintain excellent interdepartmental relationships.
Your role:

- Verify and ensure assets have proper insurance and registration in compliance with requirements.
- Review and process external insurance policies and registration documents, promptly updating our system to reflect accurate coverage.
- Proactively engage with insurance agents and customers to rectify non-compliant policies.
- Address insurance and registration cancellations with efficiency, contacting customers and/or insurance agents for timely reinstatements.
- Escalate insurance delinquencies to Collections following established procedures.
- Secure confirmation of insurance for assets ineligible for the Loss Damage Waiver program.
- Handle insurance-related correspondence using a variety of communication methods, including issuing letters, and final notifications.
- Provide prompt and informative responses to customer inquiries, maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Manage the Loss Damage Waiver program for eligible leases, including quoting fees and processing enrollment or removal from the program throughout the lease term.
- Process Power of Attorney requests efficiently by taking consideration for provincial nuances and collaborate with provincial registry offices to resolve issues and ensure compliance Contribute as a collaborative team player, emphasizing process improvement and clear communication.
Your team:
As part of the National Leasing sector, you’ll be on a team of six colleagues and you’ll report to the Team Manager. Our team stands out for its expertise in equipment leasing & financing – supporting equipment dealers with hassle-free financing solutions & secure equipment with a full range of financing in agriculture, construction, transportation, forestry, health care, commercial, and golf and turf equipment industries across Canada.
We offer a wide range of ongoing learning opportunities for your development, including hands-on learning, training courses and collaborating with colleagues who have varied expertise and profiles.
Prerequisites:
- Bilingual (French/English) , written and spoken
- Post secondary education or equivalent work/training experience
- General Insurance Essentials Course completion or equivalent insurance industry courses are considered an asset
- 2+ years of customer service or office administration experience
- Prior insurance industry experience considered an asset
