What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager and the Night Manager, the Night Auditor plays an integral role in ensuring a seamless guest experience. This position is responsible for completing all end-of-day accounting activities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency. In addition to their financial responsibilities, the Night Auditor will exemplify excellent customer service, working hand-in-hand with the night team to support guests and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
As the Night Manager, you’ll get to:
- Creating a positive guest experience by providing courteous and professional service to guests checking in or out while offering exceptional service to guests during their stay; • Handling cash and credit card transactions;
- Answering guest inquiries in a timely and accurate manner;
- Creating accurate reservations;
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Desk;
- Clear and concise pass-on communication with colleagues and leaders in the department; • Balancing front office and food & beverage daily postings and preparing necessary audit; paperwork
- Completing all “End of Day” activities;
- Preparing and distributing daily reports for various departments;
- Ensuring guest safety and security;
The person we are looking for is:
- Motivated, high performance team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized with exemplary attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hospitality,
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- A high school diploma or GED would be a plus.
- Tourism & Hospitality Diploma or Business Administration Diploma an asset
- Familiarity with Opera is
