Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Manager, Revenue Growth Management to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing strategies across products in Bimbo Canada’s Retail portfolio with the goal to maximize business deliverables – unit volume, profit, and share. The role is based at our Toronto head office in Etobicoke, reporting to the Senior Manager of Channel Strategy and RGM.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Annual Category Pricing Strategic Plan
- Develop and execute long-term pricing strategies based on category plans and consumer insights, tailored by channel and region, in close partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

In Year RGM Plans
- Track and evaluate price and promo changes in market, translate findings into optimized pricing strategies with financials
- Leverage Nielsen Optimizer to formulate data-driven insights into the category performance and pricing opportunities. Review with cross-functionals and work with Sales to optimize promotional planning.
- Collaborate with demand planning and sales to address capacity issues via promotions and feature calendars

Marketing & Innovation Partnership
- Work closely with Marketing on all innovation and renovation projects from the initial kick-off to commercialization process, informing Sales team along the way
- Identifying the right price and pack to ensure competitiveness against other products, retail, and within current portfolio aligned with overall brand and corporate strategy
- Work closely with Finance on developing the P&L to ensure Innovation pricing supports both customer acceptance and long-term margin expansion

Capabilities and Process Improvement

Proactive mindset in proposing improvements in current processes (innovations, financials, promo management) with strong excel skills

Train cross-functionals and organization on basic RGM associated with price and promo to decentralize RGM within the organization

Qualifications & Experience
-
University degree
-
5 to 7 years of successful experience in a CPG environment, with a focus on Revenue Growth Management and/or Pricing responsibilities within a Commercial team

Strong understanding of revenue management fundamentals in the Canadian market with regional expertise linking it all back to consumers

Experience in implementing systems would be an asset

Expertise in Nielsen IQ, Nielsen Optimizer, Trade Promo Management (TPM), and Trade Promo Optimization (TPO)

Ability to communicate with senior management and cross-functionals with data in a clear and concise fashion

Action-oriented bias, with a keen focus on delivering results.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
