If you want to make a difference and energize your career, Wurth Canada has a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a Digital Content Writer with prior experience with prior experience in content writing for digital platforms.
This is a one-year hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the office.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Digital Marketing, you will be responsible to:
- Write high-quality, engaging, and original content for email, paid media, social media, blogs, and webpages.
- Ensure a consistent brand voice across all digital channels.
- Write compelling content to enhance customer engagement and drive online traffic.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, style, and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor content, and relevant topics to create informed and insightful content.
- Coordinate the creation and manage digital content calendar for all stakeholders (digital team, communications, division, product, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of content across platforms.
- Monitor content performance and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and suggest updates or changes.
- Be the subject matter expert for other stakeholders on digital content writing best practices and strategies.
- Collaborate with the digital and marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience preferences.
- Support the communications lead with organic social media and eShop blog management.
What YOU will bring to this role:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in digital content writing roles focusing primarily on email, social media or paid media channels.
- Experience working in a multi-channel, B2B environment with industry knowledge is a bonus
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Relentlessly challenges the status quo to ensure new ideas are explored that will improve the online customer experience
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and trends is preferred.
- Working knowledge of online key performance indicators such as bounce rates, open rate, click rate, social engagement metrics, and more.
- Proven ability to lead and navigate change in an unstructured environment
- Self-starter who can perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can create authentic relationships with colleagues.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
- Keen self-awareness and alignment with a workplace culture that is built on humanistic values and continuous improvement.
- Adept and interested in understanding business needs and working to achieve the company’s vision and goals.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Bilingual French/English (verbal and written) is an asset
- Proficient in social listening tools (i.e Facebook Insights, Hootsuite etc.) is an asset
- Drive and energy as well as the ability to manage conflicting priorities and working time.
