As a Senior Principal Frontend specializing in Crypto and Alternative Trading Products at Questrade, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital asset and alternatives offerings. You'll be instrumental in building user interfaces for our retail crypto and alternatives trading platforms and internal administrative tools, expanding our crypto capabilities across all Questrade products, and launching new alternative trading products within our Growth Portfolio entity.

• Platform Development: Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend applications for Questrade's retail crypto and alternatives trading platforms, leveraging modern architectural patterns, microfrontend approaches, and best-in-class technologies.
• Infrastructure Expansion: Drive the expansion of crypto infrastructure across various Questrade products, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and future scalability.
• New Product Launches: Lead the development and launch of new crypto capabilities for clients and internal teams, from ideation to deployment, with an emphasis on speed-to-market and quality.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend software development, with a strong focus on building scalable and resilient user interfaces.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Ability to develop in different frontend web frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, VUE).

• Experience designing and building highly interactive and responsive web and mobile applications.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.

• Experience with microfrontend architectures is desired.

• Experience with consuming RESTful and WebSocket APIs.

• Experience with state management libraries and patterns.

• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and practices (e.g., Jest, Mira, Cypress).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• System Design: Proven ability to design and architect complex, high-availability frontend systems with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
