About the role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Floor Supervisor to join our operations team on the morning shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing floor operations, supervising employees, and ensuring equipment and processes run safely and efficiently. A valid Forklift License is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor all site operations and employees to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Provide leadership that promotes positive employee relations, high production standards, and safe workplace practices.
- Sustain a productive and motivated workforce by screening, hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members.
- Maintain accurate attendance, safety, and production records.
- Schedule and conduct regular safety meetings, ensuring employees follow proper safety protocols.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery is in safe working order and report issues promptly.
- Operate a forklift as required and ensure team members adhere to safe forklift operating standards.
- Ensure safety of forklift drivers on the floor.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Forklift License (required to apply).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the waste industry preferred (MRF, landfill, or transfer operations).
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
