About the role
Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1,400 employees, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
We are currently looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis, Operations who will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of financial statements and analytical techniques
- Reviews financial output for reasonableness
- Creates more complex forecasting and financial models
- Conducts more complex analyses within respective business
- Explains variances and identifies implications on business
- Summarizes analyses and makes recommendations
This role will occasionally work with the Director, Finance Planning & Analysis Operations Finance, FP&A Lead on Management Reporting, with some exposure to the Senior Director FP&A of Cardinal Health Canada. This is a hybrid role reporting at our Vaughan head office 2 days a week.

Your Contributions to the Organization:
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly financial review (MFR) file in CAD & USD that is presented to the US team and Canadian Leadership Team
- Provide commentary on monthly variance drivers (i.e. warehouse productivity, volume, and rate) and present the findings to the Operations Leadership Team
- Support development of SFP (3-years plan), Budget and Quarterly Forecast for Operations
- Collaborate with project managers to identify efficiency improvement opportunities and assess financial impact
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication across Finance and Operations teams
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and support other initiatives as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in FP&A
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance, preferred
- Working towards a CPA designation, preferred
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Exposure to executive leadership is an asset
- Experience in a budget cycle is an asset
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI is an asset
- Strong communication & analytical skills
Anticipated pay range:$57,300 to $84,040
