We are looking for an individual to add value to our Human Resources Team. This successful candidate will be responsible for being key point of contact for employees and supports a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and HR data reporting. The HR Coordinator will be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations, including the implementation of various activities that are critical to meeting the plants SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale) objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities will include (not limited to):

Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.

Support employee engagement initiatives and morale-boosting activities.

Investigate employee complaints and labor issues; recommend and support corrective actions.

Maintain and update employee records, HRIS profiles, workforce lists, and plant-wide seniority lists.

Collaborate with Payroll to ensure timely processing of status and pay changes.

Prepare daily and monthly HR metrics reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Track attendance and training, support the implementation of appropriate measures by Operations

Administer the Reward and Recognition Program.

Manage and reconcile benefits programs for both salaried and hourly employees.

Support Full cycle Hourly recruitment process, accountable for targets and time lines

Responsible for full scope on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, including Orientation

Scheduling and attending career fairs to generate qualified applicants

Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Professional, diplomatic, and tactful approach to employee interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
- Creative problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience interpreting Collective Agreements and applying company policies.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and take initiative.
