Known for the quality of its products and the stability of its work environment, the company is currently looking to add a person to its team who is responsible for production planning and order tracking. This person will play a key role in coordinating activities between departments to ensure smooth operations and meeting deadlines.

Tasks

• Review sales orders to understand their needs, specifications, and priorities.
• Develop and adjust production schedules based on capacity, timelines, and resource availability.
• Prepare production files using the integrated planning system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV), including production orders, technical drawings and required documents.
• Coordinate activities between the production, purchasing, sales and engineering departments.
• Follow up on schedules, document deliveries and communicate confirmations to the teams concerned.
• Participate in daily production meetings and ensure the smooth flow of information.
• Identify emergencies and unforeseen events, propose solutions and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and internal procedures.
• Participate in inventory counts and inventory management.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination or order management.
• High school diploma obtained.
• College diploma or equivalent training in logistics, production or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (essential for interacting with English-speaking clients).
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Proficiency in an integrated planning system such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is an asset.
• Experience in an RF communications company is an asset.
