About the role

Our client, located in Boucherville, is an innovative Quebec-based company specializing in industrial automation and material handling. Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Mechanical Assembler / Installer will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of various conveyor components and their installation, bringing engineering plans to life while meeting established deadlines.
Tasks
- Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and schematics;
- Fabricate, assemble, adjust, dismantle, and move conveyor components (frames, supports, drive modules, belt alignment, etc.) and various machines using hand and power tools;
- Assemble and connect electrical components that do not require direct wiring inside control cabinets;
- Inspect and prepare all elements required for installations;
- Suggest improvements to engineers during the design phase;
- Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
- Vocational diploma (DEP) in Industrial Mechanics;
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in conveyor assembly;
- Must have your own toolbox.
