About the role
You will mainly be responsible for the verification, programming, service, and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:
- Preparation, assembly, programming, initial start-up, and verification of new fire alarm system, as well as project management;
 - Inspection, service, and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
 - Performing upgrades, repairs, additions, or improvements to systems following inspection;
 - Preparation of inspection, verification, and deficiency reports in a timely manner;
 - Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis;
 - Provide technical support to team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in testing and inspection of fire alarm systems;
 - Strong fundamentals in electronics or electricity or Fire Science Technology or equivalent training and experience;
 - CFAA certification or willing to work toward CFAA certification;
 - Knowledge of Notifier products and/or fire systems;
 - Experience in programming fire alarm panels;
 - Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537;
 - Valid driver’s license (mandatory);
 - Ability to work well independently;
 - Strong customer service skills.
