The Substation Technologist is responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of transmission substation equipment ranging from 4160V to 500KV. They also provide emergency response, support capital upgrade projects, and mentor junior employees.

The summer student will support the Customer Operations team by preparing customer invoices, financial documents, and weekly reports. Additionally, they will assist with service improvement initiatives, business process analysis, and provide administrative support across the department.

The Control Centre Operator manages and operates transmission wire facilities in real-time to ensure safe and reliable electricity delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring system voltage, executing switching procedures, and maintaining compliance with reliability standards.

The Project Manager will lead and manage customer projects from initial request through to AUC permitting, coordinating internal and external teams. They are responsible for defining project scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance.

Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot transmission substation equipment, and provide equipment-status information and recommendations to planning and control-center staff. Support capital upgrades, new technologies, emergency response, safe work planning, and the development of junior employees.

The successful candidate will develop, validate, and manage transmission-system and electrical-equipment models while ensuring compliance with AESO rules and reliability standards. They will also support facility studies by providing capacity assessments, power flow analysis, and short-circuit information to internal and external stakeholders.
