In one sentence The Utility Implementation Coordinator (Field Technician) is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and facilitating utility infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, utility companies, field resources, contractors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. What will your job look like? Will manage multiple projects simultaneously, monitor workflow and performance metrics, coordinate permitting and utility approvals, maintain project documentation, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Liaise with utility companies, municipalities, contractors, and customers Coordinate joint staking activities and utility scope reviews Manage utility permits, locates, easements, and approval requirements Identify project risks and escalate issues as required Track project status and provide updates to management and customers Frequent travel within designated area Ensure compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and industry standards Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Drivers license Must Have Skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Nice To Have Skill Experience coordinating utility, telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects Telecommunications outside plant (OSP) experience Why You Will Love This Job You will have a wide scope of activities You will have excellent products and solutions You will have scope for professional development Amdocs is an equal opportunity employer. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates need strong organizational and time-management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication. A valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license and frequent travel within the designated area are required; utility, telecommunications, construction, infrastructure, or outside plant experience is an asset.
