In 1981, on opposite sides of the province and independent of each other, Arctic Power Systems and Arrow Installations opened their doors for business. Both companies worked hard to achieve a long history of success as powerline contractors in Western Canada. In 2010, Arctic Power Systems acquired Arrow Installations, growing the company into one of the largest privately owned powerline contractors in Western Canada.
