A good job search is easier to manage when you turn it into a repeatable process.

Define your target

Choose a small set of role titles, locations, working arrangements, and salary expectations. A focused search makes it easier to recognize relevant opportunities.

Prepare reusable material

Keep a complete resume, a shorter tailored version, and a list of measurable accomplishments. Adapt the most relevant points for each application instead of rewriting everything.

Check the employer and posting

Review the employer profile, company website, posting dates, and application destination. Be cautious when a recruiter uses an unrelated email domain or creates unusual urgency.

Track every application

Record the role, employer, date, version of your resume, contact person, and next step. This keeps follow-ups useful and prevents duplicate applications.

Protect your information

Do not send payment, banking details, or government identity numbers to apply for a job. Report suspicious listings and stop communication if the process does not feel legitimate.
