Your main responsibilities are: * Perform routine maintenance within the laboratory (e.g. cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchen, mopping and sweeping floors); * Ensure any safety related maintenance items are addressed promptly; * Perform outside building and grounds maintenance (e.g. snow removal, spring clean-up, windows); * Provide support to the Facilities Supervisor as required; * Act as a backup point of contact for the landlord and contractors who have responsibility for maintenance of laboratory and building equipment (e.g. HVAC, make-up air unit, plumbing, electrical); * Any other related tasks. You are an ideal candidate if you: * Have a high school diploma (required); * Have 1 year of general maintenance or equivalent experience preferred; * Are eager to learn and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail; * Have a positive attitude and great multitasking abilities; * Can work independently and collaborate effectively in a team. Work conditions: * Ability to work in a fast-paced and under pressure environment; * Physically demanding tasks: work on your feet for long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, painting, snow removal, spring cleanup; * Shift: day AND evening (full time) #IND5
