Lead and manage field crews to complete various types of surveys, including engineering, topographic, and legal cadastral work. Responsible for managing field data, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with the drafting division to ensure project specifications are met.

Collaborate with the Survey Party Chief to perform field surveys using advanced instruments like Robotic Total Stations and GNSS. Responsibilities include interpreting site plans, preparing field notes, and maintaining equipment while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The role involves processing field data and computer-generated survey information to produce pre-engineering and cadastral plans. Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior team members and help develop in-house CAD and mapping standards.

The Survey Field Assistant will work closely with the Survey Party Chief in the field, regularly traveling across Ontario while utilizing advanced surveying instruments like Robotic Total Stations and 3D laser scanners. Responsibilities also include reading site plans, preparing field notes, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality control programs.
