About The Job You're Considering We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) with experience in Oracle Database Administration, PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, and database maintenance activities along with operational issues in Database as well as LIMS application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, security, and reliability across enterprise environments. Location Remote Your role Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments Monitor database health, performance, storage usage, and availability across Production, UAT, QA, and Development environments Administration on (RH) Linux, Bash, Oracle RDBMS, Shibboleth SP, HTTPD, JBoss AS Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views Perform database performance tuning using AWR Reports, ASH Reports, Explain Plans, SQL Trace, and Oracle performance tools Troubleshoot and resolve database issues related to locking, blocking, deadlocks, memory utilization, and query performance Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions Support database patching, upgrades, migrations, and database refresh activities Manage Oracle user accounts, roles, privileges, and database security controls Monitor and maintain tablespaces, storage utilization, and database growth Perform index analysis, SQL tuning, partitioning, and execution plan optimization Support production incidents, problem management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective Action Plans (CAP) Your Skills And Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration Strong experience in PL/SQL Development and Optimization Experience with Oracle Database 12c, 19c, or higher Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning techniques The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $62,875 - $147,504 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
