Job Description We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our production team. In this role, you will support daily plant operations by assisting with the unloading of raw materials, supporting various processing areas, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and the Plant. The General Labourer plays an important role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and sanitation standards. Report on equipment issues, safety concerns, or operational challenges to the Shift Manager on duty. Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams. Provide relief coverage for other General Labourers during breaks, vacation, and sickness. Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying of materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious. With a “CAN DO” attitude and a strong commitment to safety. Ability to follow instructions and comply with Health, Safety, and Food Safety policies and procedures. Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs. Forklift operating experience is required. Previous manufacturing, production or general labor experience is considered an asset. About Us Founded in 1882, J.D. Forklift operating experience is required; previous manufacturing, production, or general labour experience is an asset.
