Our banking client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Designer to deliver high-quality content designs across multiple digital projects. In this role, you will create, evaluate, and modify the language used on digital tools, applications, prototypes, and websites. You will lead and participate in ideation sessions, develop user-centered concepts, and innovate using design thinking methodologies. Working independently from end to end, you will solve complex problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders, applying user-centered design principles to ensure content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with customer needs throughout the product development lifecycle. This role is a 12 month contract that requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office 4 days per week. Responsibilities Conceptualize, design, and execute future-state and near-term cross-channel content experiences. Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including product ideation and definition, user research, feature team scoping/planning, effort estimation, design, post-launch evaluation, and stakeholder communication. Apply user-centered design methodologies to ensure content is fully accessible and directly addresses customer needs. Collaborate closely with Experience Design Leads, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Engineers to develop and deliver optimal solutions. Conduct internal and external content projects, as well as support the development and delivery of presentations and communications to management and broader audiences. Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a content design expert, helping to identify risks and provide guidance for complex situations. Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information, and matters of confidentiality, escalating issues where appropriate. Ensure business operations and respective programs, policies, and practices comply with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g., financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets). Take direction from the Content Design Lead while maintaining alignment with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Experience Design Leads, and Control Partners. Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in digital, conversational, or content design. Background or degree in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.) is a major plus. Proven expertise in plain language writing, editing, and proofreading. Demonstrated experience writing WCAG/Accessibility-compliant content. Hands-on experience securing regulatory approvals. Strong willingness to collaborate within cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and highly accountable. A strong passion for great experience design. Experience in the Financial Services (FI) industry. Experience writing and designing content for public-facing websites.
