Housekeeper/Cook Oakville, ON Position Overview: Seeking an experienced House assistant/Cook for a residence located in Oakville. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence, along with regular dinner preparation. This position is full-time, live-out, Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm with flexibility. Candidate Profile: You are an experienced and well-rounded housekeeping professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You have a strong understanding of household hygiene and cleaning best practices. You have a passion for cooking who is comfortable with meal prep and can follow a recipe. You have a good eye for detail and are comfortable working alone. Primary Responsibilities: Daily housekeeping to include dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, washing floors Preparing dinners, prepping groceries. Maintain household inventory, prepare household inventory checklists Daily laundry, ironing and steaming Trash and recycling management Running errands, grocery shopping, dry cleaning Supervising vendors Other duties as required from time to time Applicant Qualities: Must have previous experience working in a semi-formal residence Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces Strong cooking and food preparation skills Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercise diplomacy, discretion and respect of boundaries Applicants must be service oriented with excellent English communication skills A valid Full G driver's license and vehicle Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
