Children's Village of Ottawa-Carleton operates a large Licensed Home Childcare Program, several school-based Childcare Centres, summer programs, a drop-in play group and other support services for parents and providers. We believe in working in partnership with parents, providers and agency staff to ensure children receive quality care in a nurturing environment. Our services reflect an ongoing commitment to the well-being of children and families and are characterized by sensitivity, high standards, and flexibility. The Children’s Village of Ottawa-Carleton operates the following programs and services: •Licensed Home Child Care: This program operates in West, Central, and South-end Ottawa for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. •Childcare Centres: This program operates in 9 schools across the city, offering toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and school-age programming. • Transitions Summer Camp: An innovative, child-driven life skills and social skills summer program for children ages 5 to 7 years (Juniors) and 8 to 12 years (Seniors), operating throughout Ottawa. •Resource Centre: Offers playgroups and special events for children, parents, and providers.
